My dear readers,
I hope you are doing great and you are very welcome to my blog!
I love socializing and being around people who are the leaders of our society, dedicated to people, try hard to make positive changes in communities through their projects, strategies, and actions!
Learning from them and trying my best to shadow their mindset help me do better in my social initiatives on my journey to Miss World Canada 2018 and after.
I’m really fortunate to meet with the Quebec Minister of Finance, Carlos J. Leitão for the 2nd time.
Before I had the pleasure to meet with him as one of the selected students from John Molson School of Business (Concordia University) having the opportunity to participate in the discussion and exchange of ideas regarding Quebec’s budget priorities, policies implementation, and the economic development plans.
Last month I was invited to an event held in Quai 5160 in LaSalle where I had the opportunity to meet with the Minister again. Last time I introduced myself as a :
-A representative of our province (Quebec) in the final stage of Miss World Canada 2018
-A nominee for the RBC Top 25 Canadian Immigrants’ Youth Awards (Minster Leitão is an immigrant as well)
-A double degree (3rd year) student in finance & international business
-A voting member of the Board of Director Finance Committee at JMSB
When I went to approach Minster Leitão he knows exactly who I was (surprisingly!!!) and kindly asked me how I was doing and we went on to have a quit warm and friendly conversation.
It was a pleasure to meet one of the most knowledgeable and top-ranked (based on Bloomberg) economists in the world and someone who is impressively energetic, respectful and dedicated to our society.
I hope one day I can become one of them having the honor to serve our nation and people at such this large scale and scope.
I hope you enjoyed reading it and I would love to hear about your experiences and inspirations you got through facing successful leaders and lessons you got from them on my Official Facebook page ( Tina, Miss NI -Quebec World 2018)!
Thank you and love you all!💕
Tina Khadivi (your Miss)
