My dear friends,
I hope you are doing great and you are very welcome to my blog!
This picture was taken early in the morning at Elgar Community Centre where they put the local newsletters for people.
I would like to appreciate one of the most popular and engaging magazines in our area Le Magazine de l’Île-des-Soeurs for having me on their coverage and writing an article about my goals and journey to Miss World Canada 2018.
Words cannot express how exciting it is to receive such this strong interest and support from various newsletters to interview with me and share my adventurous life story, challenges that built my mindset, and lead me to have a mission of giving back to our society, especially on my beautiful journey to Miss World Canada 2018.
This excitement is due to the fact that I feel that they might have seen some potentials on a young (24 years old) woman who is trying her best to be the best possible example and source of help, peace, and inspiration of the others.
2 days after publishing the article I received some messages from people who were impressed by my story and dedication to the society. Therefore, I decided to go to Elgar Community Centre where that they had put the magazines so that I can interact with people more at a personal level, fulfill their curiosity by answering their questions, and ask if there is any cause that I can support or issue that I can contribute in solving in our area.
It has always been my dream to be a role model in my own way, not the one that people can just read about or see on television, but the one accessible to people, and known by many at a personal level (like a close friend).
Sometimes it takes a lot of time and energy to make it happen, but my heart believes that it absolutely worth it and that is the reason that I am here in Miss World Canada path.
The picture with a red dress was taken by Mrs. Delphine Bergeron (the reporter) on May 9th right before getting to the conference I had the privilege to be sent to on behalf of John Molson School of Business, Concordia University. The event was held by Montreal International Relations Council (CORIM), at hotel Bonaventure where the industry leaders from different parts of the world (Finland, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, …) were invited to cover important topics such as:
-Encouraging medium-sized businesses to grow
-Strengthening the internationalization of companies
-Women and entrepreneurship
-Financing strategies for tomorrow’s jobs
I have always believed in a golden sentence which says “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.”
― Mahatma Gandhi
Thank you and love you all!💕
